Plant Sale!

We're having a plant sale! We have 18 beautiful plants available. Suggested donation ranging from $5 to $30. go to opencollective.com/comrade-co-op to order one!

Why are we doing this fundraiser?

Funds raised from this plant sale will primarily go toward covering the cost of seeds for our upcoming Gardener’s Market project. You can read more about that and our mission in general right here.

This spring, we will be providing the community with seedling trays and guidance to help kickstart their own home gardens! The seedling trays will be available free to anyone who wants one, with a suggested donation to cover our costs. We’ll be producing a zine with information on growing in Denver’s climate, and we plan to host workshops every month to teach people gardening skills as well as mutual aid history and more! Home gardens will provide people with fresh foods from their own backyard. We will accept overflowing garden produce to provide at the Gardener’s Market at a sliding scale. Folks can take what they need for free, or donate to help fuel our efforts for future months. The markets will be hosted in North Denver (a prominent food desert), to make fresh, locally grown food readily available to the community.

Purchasing a plant today means feeding your community for months to come! Thanks for your support.

Now, for the plants!...

Small Snake Plant

A beautiful little snake plant just for you!

Snake plants are excellent starter plants. They tolerate a wide range of light and temperature conditions. Allow the soil to dry between waterings--this is a plant you can neglect and it will still thrive!

These particular snake plants were rescued and could use a little extra love. Since we've been caring for them, they have already perked up so much!

These make great gifts for beginner plant parents and enthusiasts alike.

*pickup or delivery in the Denver area only*

Small Potted Ivy

A luscious ivy plant sprouting from a lovingly handmade ceramic pot (crafted by our dear friend EV!).

Ivy growing indoors prefers bright, indirect light. They like humid environments, so keep the soil moist or give them a little misting (but don’t drench the soil!).

There are two small wall hanging pots and four regular pots.

  • Suggested donation: $20-30

Small Potted Spider

A lovely young spider plant, sprouting from a lovingly handmade ceramic pot (crafted by our dear friend EV!).

Spider plants prefer indirect light, as their leaves can burn with too much direct sunlight. They prefer to be slightly moist, not too wet or too dry at any time.

  • Suggested donation: $20-30
